Patrick Benjaminsson is a Swedish PR & marketing expert who is based in Morocco with a background in film, theater and publishing. He is the co-founder and CEO of the Marrakech based communications agency Red City PR and is organizing team for TEDxMarrakesh, the yearly event that is devoted to spreading innovating ideas. Patrick has been involved with Project Soar since he moved to Marrakech in January 2015,as a local volunteer and also via Red City PR, which donates their time and resources to further the Project Soar mission.
Jennifer Harr has an extensive history of helping others. She has volunteered at women's shelters, social groups for abused young girls, and summer camps for children and adults with developmental disabilities. She has found innovative ways to use her visual art/photography skills to give to others. She taught art lessons in schools in which art is not offered. Jennifer has donated her professional photography and digital media expertise to Project Soar.
Sarita JHA CFA has a wide range of experience over her career: private equity, corporate finance, engineering and development. Sarita has always been interested and involved with development activities and non profit organizations. She worked for 2 years in the former Czechoslovakia teaching economics as part of the Civic Education Project / Central European University, a program established almost 25 years ago based on the Peace Corps volunteer model. Sarita has been an active supporter of Human Rights Watch both in Los Angeles and London including being a member of the Women's Rights Committee in Los Angeles. She stayed at Peacock Pavilions to attend a Project Soar activity and met the girls which motivated her to get further involved in Project Soar and she now hosts a yearly fundraiser for Project Soar in London.
Erin Lewis is a NYC-based certified yoga instructor and founder of EAT.PRAY.MOVE Yoga Holidays and Retreats through which she has hosted dozens of yoga retreats, bringing guests to all corners of the globe. Erin held over a dozen yoga sessions as Project Soar, introducing more than 200 guests to the work going on in Douar Ladaam. Erin is honored to have led the very first Project Soar workshop and is a trusted and loved friend of the girls at Project Soar. Erin is passionate about giving back and started a "Give Back" initiative where a portion of her retreats' profits go back to Project Soar
Per Sjödell is a Swede based in Marrakech with 20 years of senior experience from business development, change management, sales, brand building and communications in the fashion and FMCG industries. Retail expert. He is founding Partner of Red City PR | Communications Agency & Production Services and Chairman of the Board of Directors for fashion chain LIMDEX, beauty retailer LYKO, communications group NORDIC MORNING and design agency IDENTITY WORKS as well as Board Member of STOCKMANN GROUP and Organizer of TEDxMarrakesh. Per has been an active supporter of Project Soar since 2015, volunteering locally and providing support and resources via Red City PR.
Anna Wang is a philanthropy and advocacy advisor with more than 20 years of experience in global health, public affairs and communications. Her main client is the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation where she provides advice on the foundation’s global health research and development (R&D) strategy and advocacy activities. In addition, Anna is also the founder and director of a non-profit photography collective, Photographers for Hope which aims to use the power of images to support positive social change. Anna has been supporting Project Soar since it's inception in 2014.
Jennifer Borch is an international English Language Teaching associate based in Vermont, USA. She has spent much of the past 20 years in language education both in the United States and abroad. She has worked on language and culture projects in Morocco, Vietnam, and France. In the United States, much of her work is focused on refugee-background students. Jennifer currently leads the Moroccan Board of Project Soar and is a member of the U.S. board. She has written orientation curriculum, conducted facilitator training workshops for Project Soar in a Box, and recently wrote the girls’ leadership training curriculum for the Project Soar Alumni Girl Leader Training.
